Treyarch has just released the box-art for CoD:BO. Now the design isn't all that startling since they've been using it on their websites and in the trailers. But You'll note that it says "PC" on the front. Who ever shows PC anything anymore?! Go Treyarch.

Here's a cool editorial by JockYitch from Bash&Slash.
Nice, eh?
"Sally's" the name of this scary SOG dude's gun. And the number "8" refers to the quantity of adversaries he's had who have fallen victim to her wrath.
Totally in keeping with the Black Ops theme, but look at the bottom left.
The artwork is for the "PC"!
JD_2020's tweet announcing the cover-art states that he's showing the PC art just to keep the PS3 guys from gnawing at the XBox guys and thus stave off a console war that inevitably results when one of those platforms is displayed in-lieu of the other. Whatever the reason, it is almost unheard of to have a major dev even mention our community this far out from game release. For example, I cannot remember IW even saying the word "PC" in their run up to CoD:MW2. And for CoD4, I could count us being talked-about on two fingers.
A few days ago, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick complained about the fact that he’s not happy with Xbox Live and would like to see more PC sales to counter Microsoft's attempt at an online monopoly -- and now this.
I am telling you, stay alert for all that BP oil to be sucked back down that Gulf of Mexico oil well and for Mel Gibson to trade in his movie stardom for a career in the priesthood, because the world's gone whacky. Not that I'm complaining. It almost feels as though PC gaming is making a resurgence. Heck, even on the BFBC2 front, PC sales have been right there with XBox sales. This is all pretty heady stuff.
So for that reason, I'm not going to dwell on this much, I'm off to buy a lottery ticket.
